Personal Lines Underwriter – Tennessee

What You'll Do:

• Evaluate and underwrite new business and policy changes for Tennessee Personal Lines risks.

• Review inspections, reports, and renewals to ensure accurate risk selection and policy classification.

• Partner with agency partners to resolve underwriting, eligibility, and coverage questions.

• Process policy changes, reinstatements, Consent to Rate requests, and premium-related issues.

• Provide exceptional service while maintaining underwriting quality and compliance.

• Support underwriting assistants and collaborate with internal teams to deliver efficient solutions.

What We're Looking For:

• 2+ years of Property & Casualty insurance underwriting experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Experience evaluating personal lines risks, renewals, endorsements, and policy changes.

• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.

• Tennessee resident required.

• Property & Casualty license and/or insurance designation preferred.
