Join our fast‑growing digital insurance company client focused on small commercial lines, delivering modern Property & Liability, Cyber, and Workers’ Compensation solutions designed to meet the evolving needs of Small and Medium‑sized Businesses as a Territory Sales Manager



What You’ll Do:

  • Own and grow the assigned Southeast territory (NC, SC, VA) by developing and executing agency and territory plans aligned with underwriting and profitability goals.

  • Recruit, onboard, and manage independent retail agencies, wholesalers, and select distribution partners.

  • Drive profitable new and renewal business using data, CRM tools, and targeted production initiatives.

  • Build strong, long-term relationships with agency principals, producers, and key partners.

  • Monitor territory performance, identify opportunities or gaps, and implement corrective action plans as needed.

  • Collaborate internally with underwriting, product, and operations teams to support growth and agent success.

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade associations, and territory meetings.



What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience in small commercial insurance distribution, sales, or frontline underwriting (8–10 years preferred).

  • Proven success managing independent agencies and driving production across multiple product lines.

  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and closing skills.

  • Data-driven and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote, field-based role.

  • Comfortable traveling within the Midwest territory and working independently.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field (MBA preferred).
