Director of Product

Join a Mission‑Driven Homeowners Insurance Organization dedicated to making things better as a Director of Product! 

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the strategy, development, and maintenance of personal lines products.

• Partner with underwriting, claims, and other teams to refine coverage and policy language.

• Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to drive product innovation.

• Define KPIs, assess product performance, and recommend improvements.

• Oversee product launches, updates, and retirements.

• Report product performance to senior leadership.

• Develop new product lines as needed.

• Ensure regulatory compliance in all product work.

• Lead and grow a team of Product Managers and analysts.

• Identify strategic product opportunities for the company.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD) preferred.

• 8+ years in insurance strategy, product, actuarial, underwriting, or related roles.

• 3+ years P&L ownership and 5+ years managing direct reports.

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

• Ability to interpret and draft complex policy language.

• Experience working with regulators; strong understanding of Florida’s insurance environment.

• Insurance designations (CPCU, CIC) preferred.

• Strong organizational skills and proficiency with analytical tools.
