Join our expanding P&C Insurance Carrier client whom is seeking a Commercial Underwriting Support Specialist!



What You’ll Do:

  • Communicate with agency partners, policyholders, and third parties via phone and email, providing billing details and basic coverage information.

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls with professionalism, resolving customer service and billing inquiries.

  • Perform data entry, initial review, and setup of new business submissions.

  • Process high-volume, time-sensitive transactions such as endorsements, address updates, and mortgage changes with accuracy.

  • Manage loss run requests efficiently for agency partners.

  • Review and process returned mail, updating records and notifying agencies as needed

  • Review renewal documentation (ACORD applications, TRIA forms, Diligent Effort forms) for completeness and accuracy

  • Send, receive, and process communications from agency partners in a timely manner.

  • Organize and attach documents to policies, identifying and categorizing for workflow efficiency.

  • Support underwriting and operations teams with additional administrative and service-related tasks as needed



What We’re Looking For:

  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance or related field preferred.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to manage high-volume workloads while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

  • Comfortable working with multiple systems and performing data entry tasks.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Team-oriented with a proactive and adaptable approach.
