Join our expanding P&C Insurance Carrier client whom is seeking a Commercial Underwriting Support Specialist!
What You’ll Do:
Communicate with agency partners, policyholders, and third parties via phone and email, providing billing details and basic coverage information.
Handle inbound and outbound calls with professionalism, resolving customer service and billing inquiries.
Perform data entry, initial review, and setup of new business submissions.
Process high-volume, time-sensitive transactions such as endorsements, address updates, and mortgage changes with accuracy.
Manage loss run requests efficiently for agency partners.
Review and process returned mail, updating records and notifying agencies as needed
Review renewal documentation (ACORD applications, TRIA forms, Diligent Effort forms) for completeness and accuracy
Send, receive, and process communications from agency partners in a timely manner.
Organize and attach documents to policies, identifying and categorizing for workflow efficiency.
Support underwriting and operations teams with additional administrative and service-related tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
2+ years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance or related field preferred.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage high-volume workloads while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
Comfortable working with multiple systems and performing data entry tasks.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Team-oriented with a proactive and adaptable approach.
