Commercial Lines Underwriter – Remote

Joiin our fast‑growing, UNIQUE, Start-Up Insurance MGA client is seeking a Workers Comp/Payroll, Cyber, & BOP Commercial Lines Underwriter!

What You’ll Do:

• Manage and grow a profitable portfolio through disciplined risk evaluation, pricing accuracy, and high‑quality service.

• Ensure full compliance with state filings and established underwriting guidelines.

• Process notices, quotes, binds, endorsements, and service requests in a timely and accurate manner.

• Work within assigned underwriting authority and escalate accounts as appropriate.

• Partner with Sales and distribution teams to support organizational objectives.

• Review loss control reports and audits, collaborating with agents to strengthen risk quality.

• Communicate promptly to resolve issues impacting policyholders and business partners.

• Build and maintain strong external relationships through responsiveness, transparency, and expertise.

• Maintain consistent communication with partners regarding updates, competitive insights, and company initiatives.

• Participate in underwriting committees and focus groups to support continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• At least five years of commercial underwriting experience

• Proficiency in BOP, Workers’ Compensation, and Cyber lines.

• Strong analytical and risk‑assessment capabilities.

• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
