Join our Super-Regional, Tampa Based Carrier Client who is a committed to delivering fair, timely, and compliant claims solutions, with a strong focus on operational excellence, catastrophe readiness, and superior service for policyholders as a Claims Manager!
What You’ll Do:
Lead, coach, and develop Claims Examiners and external partners to ensure quality outcomes and consistent performance.
Oversee daily claims operations, workloads, and productivity while ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory standards.
Conduct file reviews, reserve audits, and case evaluations to maintain financial integrity.
Provide settlement authority and technical guidance on complex, high‑severity, or litigated claims.
Resolve escalated coverage disputes and represent the organization in mediations, legal proceedings, and large‑loss reviews.
Analyze operational trends, identify improvement opportunities, and present insights to senior leadership.
Collaborate with Underwriting, Finance, Legal, HR, and other teams to support claim efficiency and policyholder experience.
Contribute to catastrophe planning and lead response efforts during major events.
Support systems testing, policy development, process optimization, and departmental initiatives.
Ensure staff licensing, compliance, performance reviews, and ongoing professional development.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Active state adjuster licensing required; multi‑state licensing may be necessary.
3+ years of experience supervising personal or commercial property claims teams.
Strong technical expertise in property claims, policy interpretation, and settlement practices.
Proven leadership and coaching skills with the ability to drive performance and accountability.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
Analytical, organized, and results‑driven, with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and claims management systems.
Willingness to travel occasionally for field leadership or catastrophe response.
